Biden Pressed On Massive Illegal Payouts – His Response Says It All

President Joe Biden panicked and ignored a question about his new radical plan to pay illegals nearly half a million dollars each after they had been separated from their families while attempting to break into the country.

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy pressed the president on Sunday regarding his administration’s plan to pay $450,000 per person to illegals.

“Mr. President, is it true we’re going to give $450,000 to border crossers who are separated?” Doocy shouted to Biden following a press conference in Rome where the president would only call on reporters from an approved list given to him by his team.

Biden, who had been looking toward the camera while Doocy asked the question, responded by looking away and scratching his forehead.

The Wall Street Journal reported last Thursday that the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments of $450,000 to family members who were separated after crossing the border illegally during the Trump administration.

The payments could amount to close to $1 million per family and $1 billion overall, though the Journal noted that many families would get smaller payouts.

The reported plan has drawn outrage and condemnation from critics, some of whom have pointed out that such payments would exceed those received by some families of 9/11 victims and Gold Star families.

Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw reacted to the report, saying the Biden administration wants to “pay illegal immigrants $450,000 for their hardship while breaking our laws” and noted the payments are worth more than current life insurance programs offered to those serving in the armed forces by the government.

“For perspective, if a service member is killed in action, their next of kin gets an insurance payment of $400,000,” Crenshaw wrote. “Let that sink in.”

The death gratuity for those who have lost loved ones in military service is a single tax-free payment of $100,000. There is also the Servicemember Group Life Insurance (SGLI), which is a life insurance program that maxes out at $400,000 and requires service members to have paid into it.

Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy cited the reported payments as “another way President Biden is putting America last.”

“Lawyers in his own administration admit payouts to illegal immigrants could be more than the families of the fallen from 9/11 received,” he said. “Disgraceful.”

Not to mention the millions of furious Americans who were forced to shut down their businesses or stay home from work as they were deemed “non-essential” by the government, and subsequently received measly $1200 stimulus payments.

Donald Trump Jr. reacted to the decision, saying, “Holy S**t!!! The Democrats insane. You lost your business, your job, family members whose funerals you couldn’t attend. The IRS wants to audit you if you had $600 in your bank account the government gave you $2000, but if you’re inconvenienced coming here illegally $450,000 EACH!”

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton called the move by the president an “assault on American sovereignty.”

Cotton said, “The Biden Administration wants you to give $1 million to illegal immigrant families who broke the law. This is beyond open borders. It’s an assault on American sovereignty.”
