Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins has made it clear: the Trump administration stands with American farmers. President Donald Trump and Secretary Rollins know that America’s farmers and ranchers have been feeding the world for centuries. They’ve survived droughts, floods, pests, and government red tape while still increasing productivity and taking better care of the land than ever before. Today’s farmers use less fertilizer, fewer pesticides, less fuel, and less labor than any generation before them—all while producing more food than ever. But to hear the radical left tell it, you’d think these hardworking men and women were poisoning the earth. That’s an outright lie and an insult to every single American who works the land.

The food elitists pushing their anti-farming agenda claim they just want to “Make America Healthy Again.” But their entire movement is built on fear, misinformation, and an outright rejection of science. These are the same people who backed the European Union’s disastrous “Farm to Fork” policy—a policy that sparked farmer revolts across the continent. In Sri Lanka, these so-called “sustainable” policies triggered food shortages, mass riots, and the collapse of the government. These failed ideas are what the radical left wants to bring to America.

Real responsible farming is already happening. American farmers have been incorporating conservation and sustainability into their practices for generations. But the radicals pushing this food takeover don’t want reasonable improvements. They want to replace a system that works with one that will collapse. They want to strip away American farmers’ ability to use cutting-edge technology, precision agriculture, and scientific advancements in crop genetics. Why? Because they aren’t interested in feeding people—they’re interested in pushing an agenda.

And let’s be real—this isn’t about food safety. It’s about money. Trial lawyers and corporate elites are chomping at the bit to sue American farmers, regulate our agricultural industry into submission, and line their pockets at the expense of the working class. They’ve already conned millions of Americans into paying more for “organic” labels that offer no nutritional benefits. Now, they want to make it impossible for hardworking families to afford food at all.

The real problem with America’s health crisis isn’t our food—it’s the choices people make at the grocery store. Ultra-processed, high-sugar, high-carb diets are fueling obesity and diabetes, and no amount of radical farming “reform” will change that. Instead of punishing farmers, we should be teaching people how to make better choices.

For over 200 years, America’s farmers and ranchers have been the backbone of this country. They’ve built the world’s most productive, most innovative food system, and they’ve done it without government micromanagement. The food elitists want to tear it all down. But we won’t let them. Not under President Trump’s watch. Not ever.
