[GRAPHIC] Rioter Gets Instant Justice When Bomb Backfires

In what is can only be described as the end result of abject failure from Democrats running the city, Portland marked the 100th day of lawlessness Saturday night.

Nothing could mark the sad occasion better than a rioter setting himself of fire. After all, the anarchists and radical revolutionaries are not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed, and when Molotov cocktails are added to the equation, you end up with what some described as the “Antifa shuffle.”

There is generally little humor in watching someone on fire struggling to douse the flames, but given the sad state of affairs in Portland, sometimes all a person can do is laugh.

Unless, of course, radical Antifa guerillas are allegedly gunning down Trump supporters in the streets, as seen last week.

Clashes with police marked the night as the alleged racial justice mob is seen brazenly throwing Molotov cocktails at officers — after seeing a senseless death last week, one might wonder how many people have to die in Portland before Democratic leadership gets serious about shutting down the nightly rioting.

Part of the macabre dance that takes place nightly in the city is the Portland Police Bureau taking to social media to declare a riot and warn that arrests “may result.”

Ya’ think?

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, responded to a tweet from conservative journalist Andy Ngo accurately characterizing nightly events in the city as a “war zone.”

“This is insane,” the senator tweeted, as he noted that Democratic politicians refuse to prosecute the violent rioters.

One of the biggest challenges law enforcement faces in the city is that as fast as they bring arrested rioters in the front door, the city is releasing the violent offenders out the back door — without bail.

And arrests are being made:

In many cases, charges are later dropped. This was seen with Michael Forest Reinoehl, the deceased Antifa supporter who allegedly gunned down a Trump supporter. Reinoehl was cited for carrying a loaded gun in a public place, resisting arrest and interfering with police back in July, only to see the charges dropped.

Remarkably, Police Chief Chuck Lovell responded to the nightly violence by publicly rebuking city leaders last week, beseeching them to “hold people accountable.”

Lovell said, “Our elected officials need to do their part to draw a line in the sand and to hold people accountable. The violent behavior must end.”

But back to the fire dance marking the 100th day, police did their part to protect and serve after the hapless victim and half a dozen or so fellow radicals failed repeatedly to put the flames out.

As seen in the video below, several officers eventually descend on the so-called victim with fire extinguishers.

There is adult language in the video, as someone is heard saying, “F*cking idiot!”

As previously acknowledged, sometimes all you can do is laugh at the insanity that is the progressive left.

Here’s a sampling of other responses to the story from Twitter:
