The radical left’s war against Israel is no accident—it’s the result of decades of indoctrination, anti-American resentment, and a culture that rewards victimhood over truth. The latest fiasco at Columbia University, where a pro-Hamas agitator was arrested for his role in campus demonstrations, has sent Democrats into a meltdown, exposing just how deeply their party has embraced anti-Israel extremism.
The Columbia ringleader, Mahmoud Khalil, is a 30-year-old Syrian of Palestinian descent, and according to DHS officials, he has ties to Hamas-aligned activities. He was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over the weekend, facing potential green card revocation. And yet, Democrats aren’t celebrating the removal of a radical. They’re defending him. The Senate Judiciary Committee’s official account even tweeted, “Free Mahmoud Khalil.”
That’s right—the same people who tell us that words are “violence” and that “misgendering” is an act of oppression suddenly care about free speech—but only when it’s someone calling for Israel’s destruction.
This is just another sign of how deeply the Democratic Party has been hijacked by anti-Israel, anti-American forces. Gallup polling shows that support for Israel has fallen below 50% for the first time, largely because of Democrats shifting their sympathies toward Palestinian “victims.” The numbers don’t lie—Democrats now support the Palestinian cause over Israel by a staggering 59% to 21%, while Republicans stand strong for Israel at 75% to 10%.
This didn’t happen overnight. The radical left’s decades-long campaign of indoctrination in universities, Hollywood, and mainstream media has poisoned a generation into believing lies about Israel. For years, Marxist ideology has infected academia, teaching young people that Israel is an “oppressive colonial power”—even though most Israeli Jews are brown or black, and 20% of the country is Arab. But facts don’t matter to the radical left. They only care about narratives—and their narrative demands that Israel be the villain.
And just look at how their rhetoric has become normalized in the Democratic Party. AOC, Pramila Jayapal, and their fellow Squad members have openly spread Hamas propaganda, calling Israel racist, denying Hamas atrocities, and refusing to denounce the Oct. 7 massacre of Jewish civilians. 92 Democrats couldn’t even bring themselves to vote in favor of a resolution against antisemitism—because it correctly stated that anti-Zionism is antisemitism.
This is the logical conclusion of the radical left’s embrace of identity politics. Intersectionality teaches that Jews are “white oppressors” and that Palestinians are part of the left’s holy class of “victims.” That’s why so-called “progressives” march for Palestine while chanting genocidal slogans. That’s why media outlets like CNN, MSNBC, and the New York Times spread blatant lies about Israel while giving Hamas a free pass.
This is no longer just a fringe problem—it’s the new mainstream of the Democratic Party. The Obama and Biden administrations have been complicit in funding and legitimizing Palestinian terrorism, pushing the lie that Israel is the obstacle to peace while sending billions of dollars to Iran, Hamas’s biggest backer.
And here’s the harsh truth: If America abandons Israel, we will regret it. This is not just about Israel—it’s about the survival of Western civilization. The left’s war on Israel is a proxy war against America, against freedom, against everything that makes our society strong.
The battle lines have been drawn: Republicans stand with Israel. Democrats stand with Hamas. If you still think the Democratic Party represents sanity, you haven’t been paying attention.
