Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) gave a letter to Chris Wray, the FBI Director, this week demanding more details about federal infiltration into patriot and militia groups before and leading up to the Jan. 6th Capitol protest that eventually turned violent.
Gaetz told Wray: “As the events of Jan. 6, 2021, become clearer there are many questions that remain unanswered. On June 8th, 2021, the Senate Rules Committee and the Senate Homeland Security Committee partnered to create a 95-page document reporting the problems including ‘federal agencies not warning about potential violence, to not having the right preparation and planning by Capitol police leadership.’”
He asked these three questions to the director, asking for a written response before Aug. 1st:
“1. In the year before these events, to what level were the three top militia groups (the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, and the Three Percenters) infiltrated by federal agencies, including the FBI, or informants from such agencies?”
“2. Exactly how many undercover federal agents or informants were present at the Capitol or inside the Capitol during the events and what roles did they have (were they merely passive or active instigators)?”
“3. Of the unindicted co-conspirators in the documents, which of them were indicted for crimes on Jan. 6th, how many acted as confidential informants or as operatives for the government?”
The letter was sent after a major segment on Tucker Carlson Tonight where conservative Darren Beattie explained the potential federal infiltration that could have caused the violence on Jan. 6th while connecting the event to the fake Whitmer kidnapping hoax.

Congressman Gaetz is among the few with the bravery to stand up for the patriots who are getting treated as enemies for peacefully protesting on January 6th. He is the incoming star of the new America First Republican party.
