Washington Post Writer Wants To “Burn” Trump Supporters.

Washington Post opinion writer Jennifer Rubin pushed for Americans to work together to “burn down the Republican party” in the hopes of extinguishing any trace of the enthusiasm for President Trump.

Rubin appeared on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” Sunday and said that not only does Trump have to lose in 2020, but there must be a purging of “survivors” who still support the commander-in-chief.

“It’s not only that Trump has to lose, but that all his enablers have to lose,” she said. “We have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party.”

“We have to level them because if there are survivors — if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again.”

Rubin said if Republicans are victorious next November, they will see it as an affirmation of their beliefs, and only become further emboldened to push their radical views on society.

“They will take [an election win] as confirmation that, ‘Hey, it just pays to ride the waves. Look at me, I made it through,” she said.

Rubin also claimed the country doesn’t want to shrink the federal government and would suffer if they tried to limit the size of America’s bureaucracy.

“Up and down the ticket, federal, state and local offices, the country has to repudiate this… This has become a dysfunctional anti-government party,” she said.

“That is not what the country wants and what it needs.”

This dangerous rhetoric that we have now seen spouted by numerous left–wing media contributors gives life to anti-American organizations such as antifa, who have committed countless attacks against Republican Americans.

Antifa, as we know, is growing stronger and stronger by the day. The last thing they need is people with this kind of exposure calling openly for violence against innocent republicans.

In addition to the media, Antifa has garnished the support of educators such as Iowa professor Jeff Klinzman who admitted to local press that he is a member of the far-left militant group Antifa has been removed from his position at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

According to a press release obtained by Campus Reform, Kirkwood Community College President Lori Sundberg made the “decision to remove … from the classroom” Professor Klinzman after he admitted to being a part of the violent left-wing political group.

On Thursday, Klinzman admitted to a local media outlet that he is active with Antifa. According to the local media report, Klinzman expressed his desire to engage in political violence in a comment posted to an Antifa Facebook page.

On the Facebook page for “Iowa Antifa”, one can find a litany of far-left statements and conversations. One of them features a tweet from President Donald Trump where he calls the group, “Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting… people over the heads with baseball bats”. Professor Klinzman wrote in response, “Yeah, I know who I’d clock with a bat…”

Although he refused to be interviewed, Klinzman confirmed to the local news outlet that he considers himself a member of Antifa, leading to a backlash in the Kirkwood community. On Friday, Sundberg announced that she had made the “decision to remove” Professor Klinzman from his teaching duties, citing safety concerns.

“With the safety of our students, faculty, and staff as our top concern, we made the decision this morning to identify an instructor who will take over the one course that Mr. Klinzman was to have taught this semester,” Sundberg wrote in the press release. “We have spoken with Mr. Klinzman this afternoon about this matter and have accepted his resignation.”
